The Weight of the Cross

A sacred composition portraying Jesus carrying the cross, focusing on the perspective of effort and physical endurance. Unlike other versions, this piece stands out for the realism in the wood grain and the treatment of the robe, using a sharp chiaroscuro that highlights the musculature and the tension of the moment. The somber atmosphere underlines the solemnity and spiritual weight of the sacrifice.
